Well, me and my friends don't really feel that this is healping us.. because our site is just a place for us good friends to hang out at... esp since we got time diff problems... so this helps reduce the time issues.. since its a small forum... this increases our exposure and means we might get more members... not exactly wht we wanted... but its nice to see our forum not that far behind in its votes and ranking.. :)

Anyways, thx a lot... invisionplus rocks!!!

Good point Cherokee.

We have been thrilled with all of the positive feedback we have received in response to the new voting tools. It is our goal to allow the community to democratically voice their opinion, but we do also realize that certain issues may arise when sites choose to knock down other forums without knowing anything about them.

We definitely are looking at a few innovative ideas to help QUALITY rise to the top. We WILL resolve this issue!

With that said, the best way to combat low votes from other sites is to grow your site and further encourage your members to start ranking sites!

Its great our forum was up for nomination for best site...Cheers!! I do however think the voting system should be looked into ..its obvious that you can vote for any site whether you are a member of that forum or not..Its seems a very unfair voting system... when all the larger sites can vote one star for other forums in the top 20 ??? and ten stars for themselves...it just seems to make a mockery of the system..and very unfair. The law of averages would make the site with the largest number of members win, regardless of the good small forums out there who do a good job???
