Meritocracy’s Social Media Management Packages

Basic Social Media Management ensures that your profiles on (at least) 3 social networking sites will be checked and updated on a weekly basis.  Some of the social networking sites regularly used are Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Blogger, and Google Groups to name a few.  Once the profiles are created, Basic Management includes status updates, photo uploads, and friend management.  Meritocracy will ensure that each week your links within the community grow.

Dynamic Social Media Management includes everything that Basic Social Media Management does, while taking more active steps to further develop the clients persona and role within the online communities.  This involves daily updating of a clients status, bi weekly wall/comment posting, and weekly friend recruitment.

Premium Social Media Management is for clients who want to fully leverage Meritocracy’s five years of social networking expertise.  We will 100% manage your company or personal presence on all the top social networks that are relevant to your industry (typically Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogger, and industry specific sites). This option improves upon the Dynamic Social Media Management package by making all tasks a daily occurrence, and adding instant messaging to the list of Meritocracy’s tasks.  The final, and most notable difference is that Premium Social Media Management ensures that your pages will be popular by integrating and developing customized creative content.  For one client this may mean producing a short video to post on YouTube, while another client may need a professional blog writer to post a weekly column on one of their profiles.

With the amount of reach that social networks provide, companies can no longer ignore them as legitimate communication and PR channels.  Rather than playing catch-up and trying to learn which sites to use and how to use them, work with Meritocracy’s team of marketing, PR, and communication experts who are the leaders in navigating and maximizing the effectiveness of social networking websites.

    Thanks Christine.

For years I have worked with a small team at Meritocracy Consulting to offer custom app design, social media management services, and a wide range of strategy consulting. We have kept so busy building and operating our own social networks, and also managing growth for a select group of clients that we never really published what we do…until now. We just hired several new experts in this space and have some long term software development contracts, so we’re finally able to start expanding our team and taking on more consulting engagements.

Our bread and butter has been innovative custom software development, marketing new technology and brand building for large companies. Interestingly, marketing the strategy consulting side of our business is kind of new territory…but it is so much fun working with management teams to deliver new services that we are venturing forward. We’re unique in the sense that we CAN transition in house from strategy to implementation, but I’m still discovering the best way to communicate the NEED for these services. Do we package what we have done and focus on selling social media products? Do we share our success stories and encourage clients to engage us for a totally custom recommendation? Previously, our plate has been very full just from word of mouth (and it still is), but as we hire new people we have realized the importance of proactively introducing ourselves.

From first hand experience I know that success with social media can be a true game changer for businesses, athletes, celebrities and organizations, but it definitely requires a visionary leader within the organization to understand and tolerate the uncertainty and managed risks that are required to be successful. It is ironic that only when clients accept uncertainty can I be certain that we can deliver success…I suppose all new frontiers have shared that characteristic.

Fortunately, as we have just started to reach out to the general public, people are really starting to grasp the value that we offer…we’ll see how things progress.

All ideas and thoughts are welcome over here!
